Come From: The Fankou Lead-Zinc Deposit in Renhua County, Guangdong Province

Description: The Fankou deposit is a superlarge stratabound Pb-Zn polymetallic deposit, which is tectonically located in the north rim of the Renhua structural basin, i.e., the up-turning tip of the Fankou down-plunging syncline. The ores are of replacing, exsoluting, and crystallizing grains textures, and massive, banded-laminated, brecciated, and mottled structures. The main metallic minerals include sphalerite, galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and stibnite. Grades: Pb, 4.89%; Zn, 9.12%.
